❝ 𝐓𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥. ❞

*𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯*

After the whole bus hijack scene, (Y/n) made Light piggyback ride her to a new bus shelter as they waited to go to the mall, not Spaceworld like they were originally "planning" to go. Of course, Ryuk tried to go only for him to be cut off by Light, which made him mad, but since (Y/n) also wanted to spend some time with Light for then she can go on her little shopping spree, Ryuk reluctantly agreed.

"Isn't this so much fun? I haven't been in a place where there's a bunch of shops grouped together in so long!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she looked out of the bus window, her eyes shining. Light looked down at her, a soft smile on his devilishly handsome face.

"Are you that excited to go to an outlet park?" Light asked her, him seated to her right as she was near the window, claiming that since she was dragged into his boring work that she deserved some other form of compensation. (Y/n) nodded firmly as she looked back at him, "Yeah! I've never been to one before, I've only ever been to a regular shopping mall, but it was pretty boring." (Y/n) sighed in disappointment as she recalled the day that the last human that she was with brought her there, it was boring but she had to pretend to enjoy it for his sake.

"You know... you never did tell me of your past experience with being chained down to a human before, what was he like?" Light asked her, the bus stopping because of a red light. (Y/n) excited expression fell, a frown replacing her smile. "He was like any other human, too weak to control his emotions." (Y/n) answered him, crossing her arms as she looked back out the window. 

Still looking at her, Light frowned and went back to looking out for when their destination arrived, which was conveniently, close by.

"Press the red button next to you, (Y/n)." Light instructed as (Y/n) nodded, quickly unfolding her arms as she pressed the red button. Once done, the bus stopped as they stepped out of their seats and out into the aisle, thanking the bus driver as they got out of the bus and near the entrance of the Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu.

Glancing over at (Y/n), Light tried to grab her hand only for his hand to be slapped away. "Don't grab my hand, cootie boy." (Y/n) hissed and put her hands inside her pockets, both of them still walking. Light sighed, "You're going to get lost if you don't grab my hand, I've been to this place before, and trust me, it's really huge." Light explained to her, though this time (Y/n) stopped walking and hummed. 

"I don't want to be like that one kid, so sure." (Y/n) agreed as she grabbed his hand loosely, beginning to walk again as she dragged around a fazed Light. "W-Wait, why did you agree so fast?" Looking over her shoulder, (Y/n) tsked and looked back to her front. 

"Don't think too much about it, Yin-Kun, I just don't want you bailing on me, you are going to pay for everything so I have to keep you close by." (Y/n) laughed evilly making Light sweatdrop. "I don't think I ever agreed on paying for everything-"

"You agreed when you lied to me, Yin-Kun. You reap what you sow, idiot." (Y/n) replied, dragging him over to a store that showed a lot of sweaters and hoodies. "Come on, I remember wearing a lot of those things last time that I arrived in the human realm so I think those should be good here, too." (Y/n) stated, dragging Light inside the store. 

Looking around, (Y/n) saw an XL hoodie that was baby blue colored, a cute drawing of a milk carton on the front. "I want that one!" (Y/n) stated in a firm tone as she zoomed over towards the hoodie and grabbed it, not minding to check the prices as she knew Light would take care of it. 

Looking down at the hoodie in his hands, Light sighed and checked the price only to freeze as he saw that it cost ¥2400. 'I fear for my wallet already...' Light thought to himself, sighing as he folded it and carried it over towards (Y/n) as she was looking at some sweaters.

"Ooh! Look at this one! The baby blue sweater with white clouds on it is perfect!" (Y/n) squealed and placed it on top of his arm, looking over some more hoodies and sweaters. 

35 𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧...

"That will be ¥89000." Looking down at his wallet, Light saw that was all the yen that he had. "Here..." Handing over the money to the cashier, the cashier nodded and smiled, handing over seven huge-filled bags. "Have a good day!" The cashier smiled brightly at him as he walked away from the store, (Y/n) in front of him as she guided him over to wherever they were going to go next. 

"(Y/n), I think we should go back home now." Light suggested as he carried the seven bags, thankful that he had a somewhat muscular physique. (Y/n) looked over her shoulder to look at him, a small smirk on her lips. 

"Don't we have to get something to eat first?" (Y/n) asked him, slowing down her pace as to be right next to Light. Looking over at (Y/n), Light gave her a confused stare. "I don't have any money left thought." Light stated, putting down the bags on his right hand and on top of the ground, pulling out his black wallet to show her the empty wallet.

(Y/n) smiled mischievously, her (E/c) eyes shining. "Let's just say that I used some of my death note magic to make a certain cashier give us food for free." (Y/n) smiled turning into a smirk, grabbing the other bags as she began to walk ahead. 

"Come on, it's nothing fancy really since we already ate. It's just a normal cafe." (Y/n) explained to him, continuing to walk over to a cafe that read "Mochi Mochi Cafe". 

Deadpanning at what she just said, Light sighed as he walked behind her. 'Couldn't she just do that when I had to pay ¥89000?' Light asked himself, only to figure out that was another one of her punishments. 

"Come one, Yin-Kun The timing has to be precise!" (Y/n) yelled out for him. Snapping out of his thoughts, Light looked up only to see that she was already at the entrance. Running over to her side, Light quickly took the bags expecting her to try and protest only to become surprised when she just allowed him. 

"My bags were starting to make me tired, anyway." (Y/n) yawned as she walked over to a two-seat table, taking off her jacket and putting it on top of the chair. Putting his bags down on the floor, Light went over to her side and pulled out the seat for her.  

"My lady." Light said in a butler-like voice making (Y/n) laugh. "My, what a gentleman you are, Sir Light." (Y/n) continued on the joke as she sat down in an elegant manner, fanning herself with an invisible fan. 

Walking over to his seat, Light sat down and looked back over at (Y/n). "Now, what should I expect from your little plan?" Light asked her, (Y/n) smirking in return. "He's only going to be in a daze through it all, so don't worry. If anything unexpected happens that I'll just have my puppet take care of it." (Y/n) explained, and soon after a waiter with hazy green eyes approached them, his movements being as if he was being controlled.

"Hello, I am Kunio, your waiter for today. Here's your menu, and I'll be with you shortly." Kunio said, his voice sounding almost as if he was in his own little dreamland. (Y/n) nodded, "Thank you." Taking her menu, (Y/n) looked over the beverage section as the waiter already left, walking quickly over to the corner. 

"What will you get?" Light asked her, putting down his menu to look up at the (H/c)-nette. (Y/n) hummed, "I'll be getting some royal milk tea, you?" (Y/n) asked him, looking over to the other sections to see what she wanted to eat. 

"I'll be getting that, too." Light replied, pushing over the menu to the corner of the table. Seeing the waiter walked over to them, (Y/n) grabbed both of the menus and handed them over towards Kunio. "I'll be getting two royal milk teas, please. Oh, and also, some Ichigo Daifuku, all of this to go." (Y/n) ordered, smiling at the dazed male as he nodded. 

"Two royal milk teas and Ichigo Daifuku to go..." Kunio revised as he walked away, placing the order on the wheel ticket. "Now all that we have to do is wait, and then leave." (Y/n) stated as she pulled out her flip phone, taking a picture of Light making him flinch in surprise. 

"Hey-"

"This is going to be my background picture now." (Y/n) informed him, her eyes focused solely on her flip phone as Light stared at her, his cheeks red. "Your order is here..." Snapping her head to Kunio, (Y/n) nodded as he handed them over a brown bag. 

Getting up from her seat (Y/n) and Light grabbed the bags and went out, just in time as Kunio grabbed a kitchen knife from his uniform coat and slit his throat, blood spraying everywhere as he fell down to the ground, people screaming for help as they called the police and ambulance. All in all, that place was chaotic. 

"Really? A slit your throat death?" Light asked her, the two already out of the outlet mall and under the bus shelter. (Y/n) nodded, "What other way? He already got his suicide note in his coat pocket so it was kinda tempting." Seeing the bus arriving, (Y/n) went inside and gave the bus driver two ¥109. 

Walking over to their last seat, (Y/n) sat down and grabbed one Daifuku, handing it over to Light. "Make sure the bus driver doesn't see you, they don't allow people to eat in here." (Y/n) whispered in his ear making Light blush again. 

"Yeah..." Light whispered back, grabbing the Daifuku gently and ate it quickly. "Thanks." Light thanked her, the sun beginning to set. 

Yawning, (Y/n) decided that she wished to sleep, and so she placed her head on top of Light's shoulder. "Don't eat all of the Daifuku or I'll kill you, Yin-Kun..." (Y/n) whispered, drifting off to sleep leaving Light a blushing mess. 

Covering his face with his hands, Light peeked over to (Y/n) sleeping face, her expression showing total bliss.

Light sighed, though a certain fondness showed in his eyes as he looked down at (Y/n) sleeping form."Good night... my queen..." Light whispered to her, kissing her forehead as he leaned his head on her own, a small but happy smile appearing on his pale face.

After about fifteen minutes, the bus stopped as Light carried the bags, and (Y/n) over to the Yagami household, the night sky already draping over the sky as the stars twinkled in the darkness.
